The enchanted forest
There once was a young man returning home after a long time away. Oh how happy he was! How much he rejoiced in advance for the feast his people would do for him! The big lights, the many dishes, the party thrown for him… Yet, when he arrived at his mother’s house no lights were on, no crowd was waiting, no warm dishes were smoking. Furious, the young lad yelled at his mother and left angrily the longed for house.
In his anger, he penetrated in an enchanted forest without noticing, and finally found himself lost. It was winter, and soon he would start to despair and eventually laid exhausted on the snowy ground. There, freezing to death, he slowly remembered the simple comfort of his home and, in a whisper, murmured “mother…”.
It is at this moment that the house elf that had been following him since his dispute showed himself. “I was hoping for you to remember your loving mother” he said “now, let us ride and go back home to her!”. They both rode on the horse and, after only a few minutes, the smart little elf had guided them outside the enchanted forest. Once he arrived, the lad fell in his mother’s arms and promised he would never again forget the warmth and tenderness of his dear mom ever again!
